after a long hiatus here we are again
most recent developpements:
The new CC Logo has been decided, a digitized version is on it's way ^o^
Christmas Cards:
All designs were accepted ^u^ thank you to those who submitted!
There will be an orientation for those who will be selling next week this coming Monday. Also those interested in helping to paste messages, fold cards and delivery please attend this meeting as well.
X-mas card project heads:
Advertising: Kyla
Treasurer: Michelle
Calendars:
As we only have 4 months handed in, the december deadline is no longer a realistic goal. Plan B: make school-year calendars to be sold sometime later in the year (spring/summer)
Anime Theatre:
There will be an update next Tuesday from Liza and Suzanne regarding the status of rooms and teacher sponsors. Anime suggestions would be much appreciated, as with DVD contributions XD
Website:
CC now has a host and a webmaster. Thank you kindly Venus! At this moment a body of work must be compiled before anything can be done so feel free to submit any artwork that you would like to share. Also any page suggestions (eg. member's gallery, club events etc.) or general comments can be directed to the CC email.

First Project: Life-sized cutouts of halloween themed anime/cartoon styled characters. One per group of max four, or individual. Materials will be provided next meeting. A projecter will be available to enlarge small concept sketches

Hello and Welcome to a new year..well school year, of Comic Club
Our first meeting had a very sucessful turnout with many new faces and familiar ones as well. So far we have 27 people who have officially signed up so if you haven't signed yet please do! Our next meeting will be this coming Tuesday at Lunch, please bring ideas for the new CC Logo. We will also be brainstorming upcoming projects, possible events (e.g. anime theatre, cosplay contests, misc. competitions etc.) and a potential website!!! ^o^

Calendars are $4.00 each, calendars may be paid for tomorrow (June 29th) in the Art Room. Pick up is from July 4th on, address has beene-mailed out.

Manga Projet: Phase II
As you all may be aware the manga project is due April the 21st before the Pro-D day, just to add a bit of perk to it all, we will be having a manga share/read that thursday to see what everyone has done and also to get a chance to get some good advice. Feel free to bring your sketchbooks and other work to share with the club. There may be a few surprises, you never know.
We will also be awarding a grand prize to the manga(ka)/ comic(ker) for the most effort displayed. yay! (manga will be judged on depth, plot, composition and level of creativity) but don't worry everyone gets something, there are no losers in th
